The MASD Special Olympics Bowling Program
is a year-round program that provides instruction
and practice in an after school/after work setting.
Athletes learn the fundamentals of the game of
bowling and work on improving their scores every
week. Practices are held weekly leading up to
competition in the East Valley Special Olympics
Tournament and the Arizona Special Olympics State
competition. In addition, MASD sponsors Unified
Bowling that matches Special Olympians with non-Special
Olympians on teams.
