Special Olympics Bocce is designed
for athletes ages 8 and up who are intellectually
disabled and interested in learning the sport
of Bocce, an Italian version of lawn bowling dating
back to the Middle Ages. Athletes learn the rules
of the game and the strategies employed in play.
Special Olympics Bocce usually begins in June
and continues through October. There is no cost
associated with this program.
